Body-centered psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and groups. (Sliding-scale fees available)
Individual Psychotherapy
My work with individuals integrates mindful, somatic (body-centered) and experiential approaches with more traditional psychotherapies to gently explore and gradually re-shape the deeply embodied patterns and core beliefs that keep you from feeling fully alive and whole in relationship to yourself and others.
I offer both long-term and short-term therapy to help with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship, anger, abuse, life transition and LGBTQ issues. I am also trained in EMDR, a type of psychotherapy often helpful with the resolution and healing of abuse and trauma-related problems.

Couples Therapy
My work with couples integrates cognitive and communication skill building with emotionally mindful and focused therapy to help couples:
- Transform arguments and chronic conflicts into clear, honest, respectful communication
- Develop greater capacities for trust, understanding and healthy connection
- Appreciate how self-expression and differentiation can lead to deeper emotional and physical intimacy
Group Therapy and Support Groups
We often feel like we’re on a very lonely planet. Whether we feel stuck socially or in unfulfilling work or stifling relationships, most of us can benefit from group support to help build a new foundation for healthy choice and change.
The longer-term therapy groups are for adults wanting greater fulfillment and authenticity in relationships. These on-going interactive groups are designed for adults who have some previous therapy experience and are often helpful as an adjunct to individual therapy. Members are asked for a one year (minimum) commitment to the group.
As a group member you are invited to step beyond your habitual comfort zone and in a safe and confidential setting learn:
- How you come across to others
- What others honestly think of you
- To trust and be trusted
- To say what’s bothering you instead of holding it in and
- To experience disagreement as a healthy way to build intimate resilient relationships
- Connect with a supportive group of caring people
- Deepen your understanding of the phases of life transitions
- Study and reshape limiting patterns, habits and core beliefs
- Manage your own process with greater awareness, compassion and skill

Family Therapy
I believe that families are systems in which every member plays a part both in creating and solving family problems and conflicts. In family therapy, we will explore how to re- shape roles, behaviors, communications and relationships in a way that leads to a healthier and more resilient family system.
